Report: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Gets Retail Listing For Xbox One
We're just a couple of days away from the return of Crash Bandicoot, as his N. Sane Trilogy is set to make its debut on PlayStation 4 in just a couple of days. Initially, we believed that the game would be exclusive to that system, since Sony created the Crash legacy to begin with alongside the team at Naughty Dog. But according to a new retailer listing, that may not be the case.
The Hungarian game site SuperGamer has listed an Xbox One version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, with what appears to be official cover art for the game, and a release date of December 8th, 2017. We took an image of the listing, which you can find below.
This follows up on a previous report indicating that PlayStation Ireland noted back in February that the game would be "coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro first," indicating that it was not a full-on exclusive, but rather a timed one. This listing seems to provide further proof of that. It's also worth noting, via GameZone, that a rep at PAX East noted that the game could be headed to PC as well.
Activision hasn't said anything on the matter, and isn't likely to at the moment, since the focus is on the PlayStation 4 version that's about to arrive digitally and at retail. But it would make sense, with the game getting several months exclusivity on the PlayStation 4 before arriving on other platforms – and just in time for the Christmas rush to boot.
The game has been drumming up some big attention since its official unveiling late last year, with a trailer and playable demo available at the PlayStation Experience 2016 event. Since that time, we've seen new ads and social media pushes for the game, indicating that Crash Bandicoot is certainly back in the spotlight. And with the promise of reported Lost Treasures DLC, we could be seeing him there for some time. Hey, we're always happy to see an icon make a comeback!
For now, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will arrive this Friday for PlayStation 4. We'll bring you a review shortly following its release!0comments
