Looks like Spider-Man really can catch thieves just like flies judging by this on-set footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The spandex-clad vigilante was caught crime fighting in downtown Atlanta where the film is currently shooting.

Taken by reporter Mike Petchenik, the short clip shows Spider-Man repelling down onto an emptied sidewalk from stunt wires. CGI will no doubt transform the cables into the hero's iconic webbing, but either way, Spider-Man manages to arrive just in time to stop a baddie regardless of what he's dangling from. While it's unclear if the person underneath the outfit is Tom Holland or a stunt double, the action scene shows promise as Spider-Man can be seen throwing a man into the air, likely ensnaring yet another criminal in his sticky net.

After all, isn't that what you'd expect to see from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?

Spider-Man: Homecoming has been raking in tons of press over the past couple of months once the project started shooting and released tons of breaking casting announcements. Actor Tom Holland, of course, will be reprising his role of Spider-Man from Captain America: Civil War to kick-off the hero's latest film reboot. Marisa Tomei will star as Peter Parker's guardian, Aunt May, and a huge roster of talented actors have also signed onto the film. Stars such as Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, and more will be featured in the newest Spider-Man film.

The project began filming earlier this year on June 20th at Atlanta's Pinewood Studios, but the film may reportedly spend in a week shooting in New York to bring the hero home. Currently, the movie is slated to hit theaters on July 7th 2017, and Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the hero's first solo film to see both Marvel Studios and Sony partnering to bring the beloved hero to the big screen.
