It seems like just yesterday the first Avengers movie from Marvel Studios was getting ready to hit theaters. Alas, it wasn't yesterday -- it's actually been four and a half years since the film debuted. Marvel fans are currently anticipating the third installment of the Avengers franchise, Infinity War.

While the film may still be a little ways out (with a release date of May 4, 2018), it looks like the folks over at Marvel are starting to get really heavily involved with the film. Even though there are three more Marvel films slated to come out before Infinity War, this will mark the studio's biggest project to date.

According to a Marvel executive, these meetings-of-the-minds are starting to get really serious -- and incredibly fun.

Louis D'Esposito, Marvel Studios co-president and producer, shared a tease of the meeting on his personal Twitter account. Along with a picture of the Infinity Gaunlet comic (which the movie will be based on), he shared a message of excitement regarding the film.

D'Esposito claimed to be in the "coolest" Infinity War meeting. It's hard to imagine very much isn't cool when you're one of the top Marvel executives.

Infinity War might be D'Esposito's latest project, but he's been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its inception. He has executive produced each of the films the studio has released, as well as the Agent Carter TV series.

D'Esposito also directed an episode of Agent Carter, as well as a couple of Marvel 'One-Shot' short films.

Avengers: Infinity War has already started production, with the Russo Brothers heading up the film. You can expect Infinity War to be relealsed on its scheduled date of May 4, 2018.
