Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout!, the new ride that opened at Disney California Adventure at the end of May, is proving to have almost as many Marvel Easter eggs as a Marvel movie or television series.

The most recently discovered Easter eggs are props from Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, including the Obelisk from the show’s second season and three Terrigen crystals. These items serve triple duty as Easter eggs since they appeared on Agents of SHIELD, are linked to the Inhumans, and are labeled as artifacts of the Kree, Ronan the Accuser’s alien race who were responsible for the creation of the Inhumans.
A previously discovered Easter egg was a hatch with the Avengers logo on it. Some have taken this as a hint that an Avengers ride will soon join the Guardians of the Galaxy-themed attraction.
These Agents of SHIELD items probably have fewer future practical implications for Disney Parks since they are clearly labeled and placed much less mysteriously.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD concluded its fourth season in May and will return to ABC in January.
