The clip shows Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), who was until recently just a school teacher in the Framework, teaming up the Patriot, Jeffrey Mace (Jason O’Mara), the leader of the SHIELD resistance to stop and board a Hydra bus.
Coulson and the Patriot are searching for Skye, who was taken captive by Hydra after being exposed as a double agent in the previous episode. What they find is a pile of hydra body-bags. Not a good sign.
In last week’s episode, “Identity and Change,” Daisy Johnson began working with the Framework version of Grant Ward as part of the SHIELD resistance. Unfortunately, she was held back and outed by Mack and Agent May and is now a captive of the Doctor, the sadistic Framework persona of Fitz, who also serves as lover and second-in-command to Madame Hydra, the Framework persona of AIDA.
Up Next: Can Fitz Be Redeemed?
Meanwhile, Ward escorted Jemma Simmons and Coulson to the island where Dr. Holden Radcliffe was hiding. They hoped that Radcliffe, having built the Framework, could figure a way out, but the Framework is now under AIDA’s control.
Things got worse when Madame Hydra, the Doctor, and a squad of Hydra soldiers arrived. Radcliffe did everything he could to try to remind Fitz of who he really is, but he failed and the Doctor murdered Agnes, Radcliffe’s love who inspired the look AIDA.
Now Radcliffe is being tortured alongside Daisy, and both are in need of a rescue.
In “No Regrets,” the truth behind Fitz’s turn could bring down all of SHIELD.
