It’s been a busy year for Marvel, and it seems to just keep getting more crowded. In addition to filming Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War this year, it looks like Ant-Man And The Wasp will also get rolling in 2017.

According to My Entertainment World (via OmegaUnderground) the sequel to Marvel’s 2015 hit Ant-Man will begin shooting in June of this year.

The site also states that the movie will be shot in Atlanta, GA.

The Atlanta announcement is no surprise, as many of Marvel’s films shoot in the city’s studios. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 was made in Atalanta recently, and Black Panther will start shooting there in February.

Ant-Man And The Wasp will look to begin filming after Avengers: Infinity War wraps its principal photography. Since Paul Rudd’s character Scott Lang will be seen in both films, the production schedules probably won’t overlap too much.

The Ant-Man sequel will continue to follow the story of Scott Lang as Ant-Man, but he will joined by a new partner this time. Evangeline Lilly will reprise her role as Hope Van Dyne, and the film will see her character become The Wasp.

This was teased at the end of the original Ant-Man movie, when Hope found the new Wasp suit that her father had made for her. Her mother was the original Wasp, but was seemingly killed while on a mission with her husband – the first Ant-Man.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is set to hit theaters July 6, 2018.
