You can't have an Avengers: Infinity War trailer without a new poster, and now the wait for the latter is over.
Marvel Studios is gearing up its promotional machine for Infinity War, and now fans can see the new poster in all its beautiful glory. Tom Holland gave fans a peek at one of the posters on Instagram, but this one is much easier to see thanks to, you know, Holland not having to hold it up to a camera.
Ever since D23 fans have been clamoring for more details on Avengers: Infinity War, which is shaping up to be quite the epic undertaking. The film is being produced back to back with Avengers 4, and both will utilize just about every character to ever appear in a Marvel film. The Russo Brothers have their work cut out for them, but it seems they can more than handle the burden.
With a movie of this scale, there is some pressure that accompanies it, but Joe and Anthony Russo just stay focused on what has worked for them and don't worry about it.
"Ultimately, at the end of the day, the thing that we prioritize above all else is storytelling, and we just focus on the storytelling and the characters and how they fit into the narrative, and we just keep trying to tell the best story that we can every time out," Joe Russo tells ComicBook.com. "That's all about the script work. There's an intense amount of script work that we put in. It's months and months spent in a room with us and with [Christopher] Markus and [Stephen] McFeely talking through the story, talking through the characters, turning over every stone, rewriting every scene, talking about whether this is the best line into a scene, best line out of a scene, is this the best execution of this scene, what else could the story be here."
With those solid foundations, it seems they are dealing with the pressure just fine, and fans can't wait to see what's in store.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
