Marvel And Netflix Release New Iron Fist Photos

Marvel Television and Netflix have released new photos from Marvel's Iron Fist.

The photos feature new looks at the Iron Fist himself, Danny Rand (Finn Jones), Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup), and Ward Meachum (Tom Pelphrey).

Danny Rand is the titular hero of the series, who gains the power of the Iron Fist after being lost in the mountains on a family expedition.

Colleen Wing is a martial arts instructor and, in her comic book incarnation, one-half of the Daughters of the Dragon vigilante duo with her partner, Misty Knight (Simone Missick in Marvel's Luke Cage).

Claire Temple is the nurse who has appeared in Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel Jessica Jones, and most recently in Marvel's Luke Cage, where she took the information for Colleen Wing's self-defense classes off of a flier.

The Meachums were family friends of the Rands, but betrayed Danny's family and left them for dead in the mountains.

Marvel's Iron Fist will debut on Netflix in 2017. It will be followed by Marvel's Defenders, which will bring together the stars of Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, and Marvel's Luke Cage for a miniseries that will function as a kind of street-level Avengers crossover.
