War Machine might be a technologically advanced part of Marvel Comics lore, but the newest figure gives him a pretty retro update.

Bluefin and Bandai recently unveiled an official look at their new Marvel Manga Realization Koutetsu Samurai War Machine figure.

The figure, which is an updated version of their Samurai Iron Man figure, gives the hero a steampunk-like Samurai costume, complete with a new chest plate and weapons.

“Following the popular Manga Realization Iron Man comes this incredible retro portrayal of the War Machine, arranged by Takeyuki Takeya and sculpted by Junichi Taniguchi and Takashi Yamaguchi! Their masterful skills have re-envisioned the War Machine as it might have appeared in the era of samurai. Includes two pairs of optional hands, a sword, a backpack, and a stand.”

The figure will come with a wide array of weapons, including a sword and scarab set, a backpack cannon, and multiple interchangeable hands including wrist mounted pistols.

The figure is currently available for presale on Bandai Premium’s website and will cost 9,504 Yen, which is around $84 USD. If you’d rather not pay for international shipping, the figure will be available from BlueFin, and cost you around $90. The figure is set to be officially released in April of 2018. UPDATE: The figure is available to pre-order now with free shipping in the U.S. on Entertainment Earth.
