Deadpool is joining X-Force once again, this time in the Marvel universe that exists on every collector’s shelf.

New photos for Square Enix’s Marvel Play Arts Kai Variant X-Force Deadpool Figure have been released. First revealed last year, the new Variant X-Force Deadpool Figure is a repaint of the Variant Deadpool Figure Square Enix previously released. Instead of Deadpool’s signature red, this Deadpool figure sports the black and white costume worn by Deadpool during his days on Wolverine’s X-Force squad in the pages of Uncanny X-Force.

The Variant X-Force Deadpool Figure comes with two head sculpts, two swords, rifle, several knives, interchangeable hands and a figure stand. The figure is expected to be released in September 2017 and pre-orders should begin soon. Take a look at the preview photos in the gallery below.

Here’s the description for the already released Variant Deadpool Figure:

Product Size: 10.43″ tall

With great power comes great irresponsibility. Deadpool, based on Marvel Comics‘ most unconventional anti-hero, descends upon us as a PLAY ARTS KAI action figure!

We have included three interchangeable head pieces featuring different facial expressions and a variety of interchangeable hands so that the collector can enjoy Deadpool’s comical and expressive character. With a wide range of motion, it is easy to recreate Deadpool’s dynamic nature. This figure’s possible poses range from mischievous gestures to powerful action stances.

Making sure our paintwork kept in line with the image of Deadpool portrayed in the film, we applied a deep red gradation on top of a more vivid metallic color. We also added some weathering effects to the armor, evoking the sharp contrast between Deadpool’s silly attitude and serious badassery.

Enjoy the true nature of Deadpool, in all his twisted and deranged glory.

Figure includes 3 interchangeable heads, 13 interchangeable hands, 2 swords with sheaths, 4 knives with sheaths, a gun, and a display stand.

In the Deadpool movie, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Forces operative who now works as a mercenary. His world comes crashing down when evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) tortures, disfigures and transforms him into Deadpool. The rogue experiment leaves Deadpool with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With help from mutant allies Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Deadpool uses his new skills to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool will return in Deadpool 2 in 2018, with Reynolds returning as Deadpool, Josh Brolin debuting as Cable, and Zazie Beetz debuting as Domino.
