Spider-Man in Civil War

Tom Holland admitted he was terrified about playing Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During an interview on the red carpet at the Captain America: Civil War world premiere, Holland spoke about his feelings on playing Peter Parker in the newest Marvel film. "At first it was pretty terrifying, but as you know Marvel are a powerhouse, they have the best in the business in every stage of the film," Holland said. "I was in such good hands, working with Robert and Chris, they were with me every step of the way."

It's a good thing that Holland has enjoyed working with Marvel, as he's set to star in the upcoming solo Spider-Man film, which could also feature some of Holland's Civil War co-stars.

As for his thoughts about appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Holland said it was the most surreal experience in his life. "I was a huge fan of Marvel for years and years before this became a possibility in my life. I'm so privileged. And [Captain America: Civil War] is finally here! Now people can finally see it, and I'm so excited!"
