The Russo Brothers aren't letting up on their schedule anytime soon. After Captain America: Civil War debuts in May, the directing duo will likely move right into pre-production on the pair of Avengers: Infinity War films, which will bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe together against Thanos at last.

Now, they're also working on a startup studio with offices in LA and Beijing to develop and produce Chinese-language films. The studio, Anthem & Song, will work to place the Russos strongly in the second-largest and fastest-growing box office market in the world.

Chinese distributor United Entertainment Partners and Chinese equity fund HDQH have both signed on for the studio, with UEP handling distribution for their films. According to THR, the Russos will develop and produce for Chinese directors, and aren't seeking to direct Chinese-language films themselves. They decided to launch Anthem & Song after the press tour in Beijing for Captain America: Winter Soldier, where they "fell in love with Chinese cinema."

DreamWorks Animation, Warner Bros., Sony, and 20th Century Fox have all recently launched Chinese-based studios and/or Chinese-language film slates.

Captain America: Civil War, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, hits theaters May 5, 2016.
