How much would a sketch, drawn and signed by Scarlett Johansson, of her Ghost World director Terry Swigoff, go for on eBay?

Well, nobody really knows, but it’s something that some fans are probably asking themselves, following the release of the Criterion Collection’s Ghost World Blu-ray earlier this week.
The disc, which features a remastered version of the 2001 comic book adaptation along with tons of bonus features including a new cover from acomic artist Daniel Clowes, director’s commentary track, interviews, documentaries, and an extended music video, also comes with a pair of booklets inside.
The first is an ashcan-style comic from Clowes, the creator of Ghost World, reprinting a Ghost World story from the comics. The tale is best-known at this point as a graphic novel and movie, but the characters originally appeared in a series of short stories that were later collected.
The second is a booklet that’s kind of a mini-oral history of the Ghost World film, featuring photos, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and interview content from a number of people involved.
Within the latter essay, by way of demonstrating how the soon-to-be starlet got on with the filmmaker and her co-stars, was a photograph of Johansson sitting with Zwigoff, side by side with a sketch of Zwigoff, inscribed by Johansson with instructions to sell it on eBay.
So how does one of the world’s most prolific comic book movie actors draw? Well…!
…She’s no Daniel Clowes, anyway. But it’s a pretty cool glimpse into the star’s early career, and behind the scenes of arguably her best comic book movie to date.

Criterion is known or its wealth of special features, high-quality image transfers, and focus on the vision of the filmmakers. As such, they’ve supplemented some of the material from the original MGM DVD (including a featurette, trailer, deleted scenes, and a music video) with a new commentary track by director Terry Zwigoff and comic book creator Daniel Clowes.
