Everything Leaving HBO Max in May 2021

There is quite a bit of change coming to the HBO Max roster in May. Earlier this week, the WarnerMedia streaming service revealed the full list of movies and TV shows being added to the lineup next month, and there is a lot to be excited about. Unfortunately, that announcement also came with some bad news. There’s a pretty long list of movies leaving the streamer in May as well.

We knew that the new Mortal Kombat movie would be leaving on May 23rd, as all of the theatrical premiere films only stay on HBO Max for one month after their release. However, this new list confirms that all four Mortal Kombat movies on the service will be leaving in May, not just the reboot.

HBO Max is also losing a couple of major trilogies at the end of May. The first three Scream films will be leaving on May 31st, along with all three Matrix movies.
