Heather Langenkamp, a star of the original A Nightmare on Elm Street, revealed while promoting her new book I Am Nancy that she will appear in Star Trek Into Darkness, J.J. Abrams's second Star Trek film, which comes out next year. "I had the opportunity to play a small part in Star Trek, so I'm looking forward to that," Langenkamp told HorrorNews.net. "I can't tell you anything about that, but that was a thrill for me. My husband and I worked on the makeup effects for Star Trek. He designed some of them, so that's the thing we're looking forward to most." The husband in question is David LeRoy Anderson, who works as a makeup artist for AFX Studio. They've apparently got something coming up soon, as Langenkamp says he'll have another gig in January, but don't be surprised if he gets more sequel work soon; he worked on Cabin in the Woods.
