will begin filming in Morocco on May 14th, according to a report from Badass Digest. According to the report, the film will be shooting in Morocco for two weeks. This seems to suggest that the film will return to the childhood home of Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Tatooine. Scenes of Tatooine from the original Star Wars were shot in both Morocco and Tunisia. Plot and casting details for Star Wars Episode VII are still scarce, but the film will take place 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and is rumored to feature the children of Han Solo and Leia Organa. Original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fischer are said to be reprising their roles from the original Star Wars Trilogy. Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled for theatrical release on December 18, 2015.
