Twentieth Century Fox is bringing Superior, the comic book by Mark Millar and Leinil Yu, to the big screen, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The adaptation will be produced by Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn.Superior is about a young, athletic boy who is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The boy is forced to deal with his changed life until an alien monkey grants him a wish, allowing him to become a superhero. Things aren’t as they seem, however, when the alien monkey is revealed to be a demon who forces the boy to sell his soul to remain a superhero or return to his former body.Superior was a creator owned series that ran for seven issues, from 2010-2012, published under Marvel Comics’ Icon imprint.No writer or director is attached to Superior as of yet.
