When the dust settles in tonight’s season finale of Arrow, expect one character to be buried under six feet of it.

As executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased in an interview this week, a major Arrow character will make the ultimate sacrifice. While he obviously didn’t spill the beans on who will exit the show, Guggenheim did promise that he’s targeting an important character.

“There will definitely be one death in the finale,” Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. It will definitely stick.”

Guggenheim also teased that The Flash’s guess appearance won’t just be quick in-and-out vist. As Guggenheim outlined, Barry Allen will actually play a pivotal role in Team Arrow’s efforts against the League of Assassins. As Guggenheim put it, “The whole episode couldn’t happen with out him.” And as for setting up next season’s big bad, Damien Darhk, Guggenheim promises a solid tease for the HIVE leader, saying “We’ve never teed up the big bad of the following year in a season finale the way we do in this episode.”

So, who do you think will perish in tonight’s episode, “My Name Is Oliver Queen?” Share your theories in the comments below!

Arrow’s season finale airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
