According to a report on the CBS Detroit, Michelle Grinnell, public relations manager for the Michigan Film Office, says that Batman Vs. Superman will be the largest film ever shot in Michigan. Grinell lists the budget for in-state filming at about $131 million. Grinell also provided a hint that Batman Vs. Superman will not be just green screens and in studio filming in Michigan. In explaining why Batman Vs. Superman will surpass the amount spent by Oz: The Great and Powerful, Grinell pointed out that Batman Vs. Superman will be filming more on-location stuff in the state.
