The dinosaurs of Jurassic World and the emotions of Inside Out are in a tight fight for the box-office title.

The Disney-Pixar film Inside Out edged out Jurassic World on Friday with $15.04M versus $14.7M. Both films could finish up the weekend with as much as $50M. As of right now, analyst are expecting Jurassic World to win its third weekend in a row by a razor thin margin.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World continues to break box office records. Its domestic total now sits at $460M, which pushes it past Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron as the highest-grossing film of 2015. By the time the weekend concludes, Jurassic World will be a hair's breathe under $500M. It will become the the fastest film to reach that benchmark, unseating The Avengers. The Marvel film got their in 23 days and Jurassic World will do so in either 18 or 19 days.

Ted 2 opened up this weekend. The R-rated comedy pulled in $13.3M on Friday, which puts it on course for a $34M-$35M weekend. Those figures are way down from the original 2012 film which opened on Friday with $20.6M and finished its debut weekend with a robust $54.4M. Audiences gave the sequel a 'B+' CinemaScore, which is slightly below the originals 'A-' score.
