Chappie International Trailer Released

Columbia Pictures has released the international trailer for Neill Blomkamp's Chappie.

Chappie, the latest science fiction film from the director of District 9 and Elysium, follows Chappie, the world's first robot who can think and feel like a human. As Chappie learns and develops with his creator (Dev Patel), government forces becoming increasingly paranoid of Chappie's existence and potential threat to mankind. With Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver's villainous characters fueling the mistrust, a military campaign is launched to destroy Chapie.

The trailer's new international edition places a much more intimate focus on the relationship between Chappie and his creator, as opposed to the U.S. trailer's more hostile, Jackman-heavy version.
