Despite the break-up earlier this year, it looks as though Chris Evans and Jenny Slate could be back together once again.

Earlier this year, the lovable and charming duo of Slate and Evans called off their relationship after just nine months. Fortunately for everyone rooting for the couple to work things out, some recent interaction between the two suggests that they've rekindled their romance.

The Captain America star took to Twitter back in October to make a joke about the M.A.S.H. theme song, and Slate responded to him with a playful exchange.

As if the flirtatious banter wasn't enough to suggest that something was going on between the two, it seems as though they may have been spending time together in real life as well.

Evans posted a video of his beloved dog Dodger howling along to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" on Twitter. A woman can be heard laughing alongside Evans as he takes the video, and fans were quick to point out that it sounded exactly like Slate, who has a fairly unmistakable laugh.

Things went a step further today when Slate posted on Twitter about her boyfriend, and how much she loves his support for her shopping habits.

While none of this confirms that Evans and Slate are officially back together, it certainly hints towards the two giving things another shot.

Chris Evans will reprise his role as Captain America in Avengers: Infinity War next may, while Slate is set to star in Sony's adaptation of the Marvel villain, Venom.
