Dark Horse Unveils Brendan McCarthy's Dream Gang Graphic Novel

After co-writing the well received Mad Max Fury Road, Brendan McCarthy decided to bring the action from the desert into the dreamscape.

His new graphic novel is about a young man who becomes a Dream Voyager by way of the mysterious Dream Gang. While not much is known about how they came to be, we do know they are trying to find a dream bomb that has been implanted into one of his memories, and they'll need his help to find it.

"Dream Gang is a story that takes place in dreams entirely," says McCarthy. "It is the story of a young man who lives a dreary, gray life. One night he has a vivid dream that connects him to a group of naturally gifted psychic voyagers known as the Dream Gang. The dream that follows changes him forever."

It's certainly original, and it really had me hooked once I saw that punk rocker dog on the cover. The story originally debuted in Dark Horse Presents but is now being collected into one volume. The Dream Gang releases on July 27th for $14.99
