DC Entertainment has given Entertainment Weekly an exclusive four-page preview of their upcoming graphic novelization of Stieg Larsson's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Distributed under DC's Vertigo banner, the adaptation is due in stores this November, and today's pages are the first interior art yet released by the publisher. You can click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version. According to Entertainment Weekly, "DC Entertainment will release the full book in November, but a free preview of the first chapter will be available starting this Wednesday." And they'd be in position to know; Entertainment Weekly is owned by Warner Brothers, who also own DC Comics. "We're thrilled to be adapting this incredible story into a series of graphic novels," Karen Berger, Vertigo's executive editor, said at the time. "Denise, Lee, Leonardo and Andrea have such great passion for the material and stylistically they're a perfect match to bring it to comics life. Their beautifully dark and visceral work will certainly blow us all away." Currently, Berger has her hands full; in addition to her regular duties, she's also editing the much-hyped Dial H as part of DC's New 52 initiative. The pages are still unlettered, but provide readers with a first look at some of the characters and settings from Larsson's mega-hit trilogy of novels, as they'll be interpreted by Vertigo's creators as they navigate their way through the dark and disturbing material. Check out the gallery below and check back on Wednesday, when we'll be sure to bring you a location for the sample chapter as soon as it goes live! [gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="1"]
