Super hero films are so secretive that even when actors are auditioning for them, they don't necessarily know what they're auditioning for. Such was the case for Gal Gadot when she headed to the Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles to try out for Wonder Woman.

"They said it was super confidential," Gadot tells Ellen DeGeneres about the audition process. She was only told she would be working with Zack Snyder on an audition and given no further details. She came, she auditioned, and she flew back to Israel for other work. A couple of weeks later, she found herself back in Los Angeles for a screen test with Ben Affleck

Hopefully, at that point, Gadot was able to say, "Ben Affleck, Zack Snyder... Hmm, this must be for Batman v. Superman."

After the screen test, Gadot waited patiently for some news. Now, for actors, that can be pretty scary. No news is usually bad news following an audition. However, after a couple of weeks, she found herself headed back to the States for another film and upon arrival, found 30 missed calls from her agents. She got the part.

It's the conversation she had with Zack Snyder about it which is pretty funny, though. "I'm not sure if you have it in Israel but have you ever heard aobut Wonder Woman?" Gadot says Snyder asked her. "I went dead for five seconds and put on my coolest voice and said, 'Yeah, Wonder Woman, I've heard of her.'"

As we know, Gadot ended up getting the part in not only Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but she'll also be headlining her own film due out next year.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hit theaters March 25 and Wonder Woman is set for release June 23, 2017.
