Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the the acclaimed Hamilton on Broadway, has been cast opposite Emily Blunt in Mary Poppins, TheWrap reports.

It's part of a big dump of new information on Disney's fairy tale movies, many of which are live-action adaptations of their animated classics but some -- including Mary Poppins -- are just updates of beloved live-action movies of the past.

Director Rob Marshall (Into the Woods) will helm the film, which TheWrap characterizes as a "sequel" to the Julie Andrews/Dick Van Dyke classic, set twenty years after the events of the first film.

The film is going to be an original story based on the spinoff books by P.L. Travers.
