Happy birthday, Seth Gilliam! The actor is celebrating his 47th birthday today.
Gilliam, who rose to fame as Baltimore detective Ellis Carver on The Wire, Dr. Deaton on Teen Wolf, and Clayton Hughes on Oz, is now known in our comic book community as The Walking Dead's Father Gabriel.
Prior to acting fame, Gilliam graduated from SUNY Purchase in 1990 and got his first TV appearance as Aaron Dexter on the seventh season of The Cosby Show.
