Joss Whedon, director of Avengers: Age of Ultron, made one fan's wish come true when he brought back one of his first and most beloved creations, Buffy the Vampire Slayer…sort of.

One Twitter user, going by the username Thoughtter, simply tweeted out Joss Whedon's name, and the tweet seemed to summon Whedon like a genie from a lamp. Whedon agreed to do the user's bidding, granting him one wish, so long as he didn't wish for wishes. Thoughtter, at first, said money, but then reconsidered and asked for Whedon to make more Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Whedon granted Thoughtter's wish…on a napkin.

The drawing does have everything you expect from Buffy: A fashionably dressed girl fighting a vampire who loves her - as a metaphor - while making puns. I give it an 8 out of 10.

For those unaware, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was Whedon's first major success in television. The series starred Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, the Slayer. As the Slayer, she was the one girl in the world gifted with special abilities that allowed her to fight vampires and other forces of darkness. Whedon used the show's premise as a metaphor for growing up, infusing it with often geeky pop culture references (Buffy's last name is borrowed from Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops).

Buffy lasted for seven seasons. It's the blend of female empowerment, teen drama, humor, and all around geekiness earned it a huge following, not to mention a spinoff based on Buffy's tragic lover, Angel. It's consistent quality and bold, inventive, and experimental televised storytelling have put it near the top of many critics' "best ever" lists, with the episode "The Body" often considered one of the best hours of television of all time.

Of course, if this fan really wants more Buffy he should probably check out Dark Horse Comics' solid Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics, which continue Buffy's story into its would-be eight, ninth, and tenth seasons.
