Legendary Artist Jim Steranko Returns To Marvel With New Captain America Variant Cover

Jim Steranko may not have made many friends at Marvel when he was regularly slamming Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during its first season, but it seems like there’s no hard feelings: the iconic artist has returned to the publisher to produce a new variant cover for Captain America’s 75th anniversary.

Steranko had a brief run on Captain America in the late ’60s, which is where he introduced the character of Madame Hydra.

He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.
