Legendary Comics Teams With Random House, Announces Three New Books

Legendary Comics today announced a new partnership with Random House Books and a trio of new projects from established comics talent. Legendary Comics has entered into an exclusive sales and distribution agreement with Penguin Random House. In conjunction with the announcement of the deal, the companies are also announcing three new projects: A Town Called Dragon from writer Judd Winick and artist Geoff Shaw, Epochalypse from writer Jonathan Hennessey and artist Shane Davis (who recently drew Mark Waid's Shadow Walk for Legendary) and The Harvester by writer Brandon Seifert and artist Eric Battle. "We want to deliver great comics, and this new agreement with Penguin Random House enables us to be much more effective in bringing our stories to readers. We are very excited by this new venture," said David Sadove of Legendary's Publishing Operations. Legendary have just released Godzilla: Awakening, a prequel project to the just-released movie from the film's writer, and will soon release Grant Morrisoin's Annihilator.
