Plastique To Appear On The Flash TV Series

The Flash will feature a ton of heroes and villains from the DC Comics Universe, and TV Line has just revealed a new character that will be appearing on the show.

Sgt. Bette Sans Souci, also known as Plastique, will reportedly be appearing on The Flash this season. In the comic books, Plastique first appeared in Fury of Firestorm #7. She was created by Gerry Conway and Pat Broderick. While she was initially a Firestorm villain, she was also later an enemy and love interest of Captain Atom. She also became a member of Suicide Squad.

In the Flash TV series, Plastique is described as "a fetching young redhead who was a bomb specialist with the Army before she was injured by an IED in Iraq." Apparently after being exposed to the Central City explosion, she gains the ability to turn any object into a bomb with a touch of her hand. Despite having a power worth of a supervillain, TV Line seems to suggest that she will be on the Flash's team as an ally.
