Ronda Rousey Transported To Hospital, UFC President Says Rematch Makes A Lot Of Sense

After being knocked out in the second round of her UFC fight with Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey did not take part in post-fight interviews, because she was transported to the hospital. Footage of Holm's knockout of Rousey can be seen at the 2:46 mark in the UFC video below.

In a post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Rousey was transported "because she got knocked out, number one, and her lip was split in half." White added that they had to sew Rousey's lip.

When asked if Rousey had any type of message before she left, White replied, "I mean obviously she's completely bummed out and depressed, but that's it."

As far as a rematch between Rousey and Holm, White said, "I mean obviously we don't make fights the night of the fight, but the rematch makes a lot of sense. A rematch is what people would want to see."
