Seth Rogen has posted an image to Twitter teasing the upcoming AMC television adaptation of Garth Ennis' comic book series, Preacher.

The image was posted with a status that simply said "writing day." It shows a cork board with several index cards tacked into it. Written on the cards are several things that indicate they represent scenes from Preacher. One says "Intro/Genesis," where Genesis is the powerful being that possesses Jesse Custer's body at the beginning of the series. Another, only partially visible at the bottom, says something about Jesse having daily breakfast with somebody.

Preacher is Ennis' Vertigo Comics series about a Texas preacher who becomes possessed by the bodiless offspring of an angel and a demon. The Preacher, Jesse Custer, finds out that God has abandoned his throne in heaven. Custer decides the God has a lot to answer for an goes searching for Him. He is joined by his gun-toting girlfriend, Tulip, and his vampire best friend, Cassidy.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's adaptation of the series was picked up in May by AMC. The series is expected to air during the 2014-15 season.
