SEX #1 Sells Out, Goes To Second Printing

Image Comics announced yesterday that the first issue of SEX has sold out at Diamond Comics Distributors and will go back for a second printing. Joe Casey's and Piotr Kowalski's SEX is a subversive take on superheroes that takes a former costumed crime-fighter into the underbelly of the city he'd formerly sworn to protect. The first issue, which made its debut with a limited edition exclusive cover at Emerald City Comicon and landed in stores on March 6, has sold out and will receive a second printing. Hard copies of this particular issue are even more in demand because, as is wont to happen from time to time, Apple has elected not to carry the book, meaning that users of iPhone and iPad devices have had a hard time getting a digital copy...so if their local store was out of stock, a reorder was necessary. The issue has received generally strong reviews, and the second printing will be in stores on April 3. SEX #1 (second printing) can be pre-ordered now (Diamond Comics code JAN130476). SEX #2 will be in stores on April 10.
