Star Trek Into Darkness officially opens in movie theaters on Friday, May 17, 2013, but some fans will get to see it a little bit early. Through their new Star Trek Into Darkness application, Paramount has announced a sneak peek showing of Star Trek Into Darkness. The Star Trek Into Darkness sneak peek showing will occur on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Tickets for the sneak peek are available exclusively through Fandango on the Star Trek Into Darkness app. While not specified in the announcement, the Star Trek Into Darkness sneak peek appear to be only occurring at IMAX theaters, which is often the case when studios release early showings of a movie. The screening times that Comicbook.com located were 8 PM CT/9 PM ET.
