Hitman: Agent 47, starring Rupert Friend (Pride and Prejudice) as the bald super-assassin, was expected to pull in $10M this weekend at the North American box office, but after a $3M Friday it is only on pace for a lackluster $8.3M debut weekend. That's good enough for fourth-place this weekend. 20th Century Fox's latest video game-to-film adaptation couldn't even match the opening weekend of the original Hitman film, starring Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood), which earned $13M in 2007. Audiences have given Hitman: Agent 47 a 'B' CinemaScore.

After conquering the box office last weekend, Straight Outta Compton has come back for seconds. The NWA biopic pulled in $8.3M on Friday and will finish in first with $27.5M for the weekend. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is still holding strong in its fourth weekend. It'll take second-place with $11.9M for the weekend, pushing its domestic total to $158M. While The Man from U.N.C.L.E continues to struggle. It'll finish in fifth place with $7.3M, pushing its stateside total to $26.6M.

Newcomers, Sinister 2 and American Ultra, aren't off to great starts either. The horror sequel was expected to gross $17-to-$18M, but a $4.6M Friday has it set to bring in $11M for the weekend—good enough for third. As for American Ultra it got stoned ... but not in the good way. The action-comedy, which stars Jesse Eisenberg (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Kristen Stewart (Twilight), only put together $2.1M on Friday. It will come in at sixth with a dreary $5.6M opening.

Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
