Tonight's MTV Movie Awards TV spot for the upcoming, Jonathan Liebesman-directed Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles reboot is now available online. Produced by Michael Bay, the production has been a controversial one from the get-go and recent rumors had it that the film was going back for reshoots and the release date would be pushed back. The spot, titled "Brothers," focuses on the relationship between the Turtles. You can see it embedded below. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be in theaters on August 8. The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.
