Not to be confused with X-Men: First Class, presumably. Marvel Comics has released a cryptic teaser image along with the text, "The First X-Men are coming." Apparently details of the story, which will take place in August, will be revealed on Monday at 5 p.m. EST. The creators involved are not mentioned, and neither is the nature of the project--whether it's a series, an original graphic novel or something else. As with anything these days, one has to wonder if this might be part of Brian Michael Bendis' post-Avengers plans at the publisher. Even money is that it has something to do with the unknown and untapped powers and origins of the Phoenix Force, something that's going to be getting a lot of play right around that time in Avengers vs. X-Men and which has been dominating Marvel's other preview pages of late.
