With The Walking Dead set to premiere later tonight, there are lots of rumors and stories circulating about the popular series. While many of the stories have to do with whether certain characters are really dead or not, a recent rumor circulating among some gossip sites is that the National Enquirer is reporting that The Walking Dead cast members are feuding. According to these reports, the other cast members are jealous because they feel that Norman Reedus is trying to steal the spotlight from everyone else on the show. In particular, Andrew Lincoln is said to be especially annoyed at Reedus. Having had the pleasure of meeting both Lincoln and Reedus at conventions and press events, I can tell you these reports are ludicrous. The two seem to genuinely be the best of friends. Neither Lincoln nor Reedus seem to have a jealous bone in their bodies. In fact, when we asked Lincoln a question about his own outstanding performance on the show back in October of last year, here's what Lincoln had to say. "I won't talk about myself so much, but I will talk about Melissa McBride, Emily Kinney, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Scott Wilson…wait for Scott Wilson in the next couple of episodes," said Lincoln. "And everybody is getting their chance to shine. We have an incredible ensemble of actors here. And I'm not one of those people who goes, 'Yeah, I killed that scene.' That's just not my style. I try to give everything I've got, every day, and do my best at every take." Doesn't exactly sound like a man embittered by jealousy, does it? And, also, just from observations of having seen several members of the cast interact at multiple fan events, everyone on the show appears to be part of a very close knit group. Below and above are a couple candid photos of the supposedly feuding Lincoln and Reedus, along with executive producer Greg Nicotero. These photos were snapped in the green room at a fan event and were not posed for the camera photos. Doesn't look like they are feuding, does it? Fortunately, it appears that even most of the gossip sites aren't buying this nonsensical feuding rumor. The Walking Dead Season 4 Mid-Season Premiere airs on Sunday, February 9, 2014.
