Activision has released a new trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. The trailer reveals Bruticus as a playable character in the game. Though Bruticus, like many Transformers characters, has had different versions in different continuities of the franchise, he was originally the combined form of the Decepticons' Combaticons and a particularly powerful combatant who follows Megtron's orders without question. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is both the third installment of the War for Cybertron video game series and the fourth installment of the video game series based on the Transformers movies, with the two previously separate universes crossing over with each other for the first time. Players will be able to choose whether they would like to fight for the Autobots or the Decepticons and will have over 40 characters to choose from. The story of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark takes place before the Ark is launched in War for Cybertron timeline and simultaneously with the events of Transormers: Age of Extinction in the movie universe's timeline. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark comes to consoles, PC, and Nintendo 3DS on June 24.
