The ending to Grease is one of those puzzling endings that could only fly in a musical rom-com from the seventies so it’s no surprise one observant fan wanted to find a logical explanation for the high-flying ending.
Redditor atomicbolt came up with a heartbreaking but intriguing theory that Sandy died on the beach the day she met Danny and the whole movie is her dying thoughts.
