Underworld: Blood Wars Trailer Released

Sony has dropped the premiere trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars, which will feature the return of Kate Beckinsale as the deadly vampire Selene.

The newest trailer presents a desperate but altogether more powerful Lycan army, led by the confident and determined Marius (Tobias Menzies). The war between the Lycans and vampires continues to escalate, and to respond efficiently to this new onslaught, the vampires must call upon Selene for help. While she will help them fight this war, she hasn't necessarily forgiven them for their earlier betrayals, and her blood just might be the key to stopping the war once and for all.

Underworld: Blood War is directed by Anna Foerster, and stars Beckinsale (Selene), Menzies (Marius), Theo James (David), Lara Pulver (Semira), and Charles Dance (Thomas). Blood War is set for release on January 6th, 2017.

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
