With The Walking Dead finale near, everyone is expecting Glenn's comic book death to be realized on television (despite the show swapping deaths time after time).
One thing that people may be overlooking is the possibility of Carol being killed off. The character is emotionally distraught, running around on her own, and encountering threat after threat. Eventually, a threat can very well be too much.
In The Walking Dead comics, Carol's biggest threat was herself. The character was eventually so overwhelmed by the apocalypse that she committed suicide by literally feeding herself to zombies.
Will this same fate be realized on television? Probably not.
But - while the chances of her committing suicide are highly unlikely, ruling Carol as "safe" in The Walking Dead finale would be a foolish claim. If death is going to find her, it seems that a Savior would be the likely culprit.
That said, Morgan is on the hunt for Carol. Chances are he will find her. The two have had quite a connection this season while also having mostly opposite views. Morgan's take on surviving without killing could be what brings Carol back to reality and hopefully before it's too late.
Melissa McBride did admit that she couldn't speak after reading the finale episode's script while talking to ComicBook.com. "I felt like I had dropped into a blackhole," she explained.
The point is, don't be so focused on who Negan is going to kill to realize that other characters are still in danger and Negan isn't the only threat in play.
The Walking Dead finale airs tonight at 9 PM ET on AMC.0comments
