While the Jedi were busy returning to theaters this weekend, everyone’s favorite angsty teen has made a comeback on Twitter.

Emo Kylo Ren, the parody account of Darth Vader’s tantrum-throwing grandson, began tweeting again today, now that Star Wars: The Last Jedi has finally been released in theaters.

Mixing the problems of Adam Driver‘s Star Wars villain with the diary of an emotional teenager, Emo Kylo Ren instantly became a fan-favorite account when it was first created in 2015. For about a year, the account had Star Wars lovers rolling with hilarious tweets about Kylo feels about the world around him. Emo Ren addressed issues like Hot Topic, the resurrection of My Chemical Romance, Jared Leto’s Joker and, of course, Darth Vader.

After Rogue One hit theaters in 2016, the account fell mostly silent. Emo Kylo Ren only tweet three times since the spinoff film’s release a year ago.

However, now that The Last Jedi is in theaters, and Kylo Ren is once again at the center of attention, the account seems to have resumed its duties.

In his first tweet since October, Emo Kylo Ren revealed to his diary that he’s been going through some changes. He’s also been getting out in the world and trying to be a better version of himself by getting on a workout plan.

Twitter has been a dark place in 2017, almost as dark as the Hot Topic stores where Kylo loves to spend his time. Maybe he can help make the social media site a little brighter as we head into 2018.
