Back in April, Disney, Lucasfilm, and Del Rey announced the book Star Wars: From A Certain Point Of View, an in-canon anthology containing 40 stories told from the perspective of background characters from A New Hope. The book seemed fascinating straight away, but the authors of the stories have taken to Twitter to tease their subjects, and it’s becoming clear that this book is going to be a must-read for Star Wars fans.
First and foremost, some of these stories touch upon major characters and events. Perhaps the the most notable of these reveals thus far comes from author Cavan Scott and his story Time of Death, which appears to focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s life after being killed by Darth Vader:

Again, there are 40 stories in this anthology to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, so there’s a lot more where that came from. How about a story that bridges the gap between Rogue One and A New Hope? A story about Wuher the bartender perhaps? There’s a story that features Boba Fett, a story told from the perspective of the stormtrooper that captured Princess Leia, a story about Lando when he owned the Millennium Falcon, a story about a droid with a bad motivator, and more.
UPDATE: We’ve also learned that Jon Hamm will voice Boba Fett in the audiobook!
