Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be doing some character “upgrades”; specifically for major characters like Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

In recent months, we learned that Kylo Ren will possibly be paying wardrobe homage to his grandfather, Darth Vader by wearing Vader’s cape as a new addition to his costume. Well, today, there is seeming confirmation that Kylo indeed dons Darth Vader’s cape in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which you can check out for yourself, below.
Star Wars Battlefront II
As you can see in the (admittedly lo-res) image above from Star Wars Battlefront II‘s DLC offer, Kylo Ren is definitely in a new outfit, and it definitely has a cape.
Whether or not the cape is actually Darth Vader’s cape (or simply one styled after it) has yet to be confirmed; however, Star Wars: The Force Awakens made it clear that Ren/Ben Solo is into collecting Darth Vader memorabilia, so it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch to see him in Vader’s actual cape.
