With only three episodes remaining in the seventh season of The Walking Dead, fans are gearing up to lose more characters before the season comes to a close.

Already, fans have said goodbye to Glenn, Abraham, Spencer, Olivia, Fat Joey, Benjamin, and Richard. Negan’s Saviors have been the cause of each, with Daryl laying out the one kill against them in Fat Joey, a character most fans almost didn’t want to see go.
In Sunday’s new The Other Side episode, the fourteenth of Season 7, Rosita and Sasha will attempt to carry out their apparent suicide mission of assassinating Negan. The Saviors will hunt for their new doctor at the Hilltop while Maggie and Daryl will have no choice but to hide.
With so many groups in motion and communities on the brink of war, the reaper doesn’t ever feel too far off for the characters within The Walking Dead.
Alexandria
Rick- Safe. Rick has returned to form, best displayed by the negotiation scenes with Jadis. However, his scavenging run with Michonne served as a wake up call for both characters to realize this world is still very dangerous, with or without Negan around.
Michonne- Safe.Michonne, at Rick’s side, is equipped with the necessary skills to survive a fight but, more importantly, the intellect to avoid one altogether. Walkers are hardly a threat to her, anymore.
Carl- Safe. Having learned his lesson about sneaking out of the Sanctuary, Carl might actually lay low and learn to survive.
Aaron- Danger. Aaron is one of the characters who survives the war with Negan in The Walking Dead comics but also fits the bill for a death swap which would shock us all. He continues to emerge as a vital component of Rick’s group which often spells trouble — ask Hershel or Abraham.
Father Gabriel- Safe. Gabriel has learned to step up in major ways, especially at the junkyard. For now, though, he knows his role is to keep a low profile and merely offer advice to those who seek it.
Tara- Safe. The only character with knowledge of Oceanside and their massive assortment of guns can’t die without spilling the secret.
Hilltop
Sasha- Danger. Having lost everyone in her life, Sasha is broken down and willing to risk it all to for revenge against Negan and will do just that on her mission with Rosita, which we likely won’t see on Sunday night.
Jesus- Safe. Equipped with ninja-like skills, Jesus is ready to do battle and protect himself on a moment’s notice.
Gregory- Danger. His people know he is weak, all of the Negan’s men are mad at him, and there’s a certain widow after his job.
Maggie- Safe. Continuing to emerge as the leader of the Hilltop, Maggie will continue to evolve and handle threats with ease, all the while playing a major role in the upcoming war with the Saviors. She’s not going anywhere, despite being hidden from the Saviors invasions of the Hilltop.
Rosita- Danger. Setting out on a suicide mission puts you in danger to begin with but acting so irrationally with violent intentions against a group which outnumbers and outguns yours… It would be silly to expect survival.
Daryl- Danger. The Saviors are actively hunting Daryl. Unlike Maggie, who they think is dead, they have their eyes and ears at the read for any sign of the little Dixon brother.
Kingdom
Ezekiel- Safe. Surrounded by people ready to sacrifice for him, King Ezekiel sits safely on his throne with great power. However, the time has come for a fight. He knows the fight does not begin today, though.
Jerry- Safe. The comic relief of this series can’t go anywhere just yet. We just won’t allow it. Tensions are heating up, though.
Dianne- Safe. Until the Kingdom goes to war, its soldiers are safe at home.
Daniel- Safe. Until the Kingdom goes to war, its soldiers are safe at home.
Carol- Safe. Carol knows what will be required of her in the war ahead but, until it starts, is wise enough not to seek battle in the manner of Rosita and Sasha.
Saviors
Dwight- Safe. He has some serious internal struggles going on and may turn on Negan, sooner than later. If he does, he will have Rick’s army to keep him safe.
Simon- Safe. Simon has taken charge of the Saviors’ factions which go out on runs without Negan. If he doesn’t start paying more attention to detail, he might run into trouble.
Negan- Safe. For now, Negan is still in complete control of the Sanctuary’s surrounding communities. That said, it might not last that much longer as Rick rallies soldiers.
Eugene- Safe. Wisely playing both sides of the fence, aligning himself with whoever will protect him Eugene will remain safe for the next few weeks. That said, fans might end up turning on him if he turns on Rick.
Elsewhere
Jadis- Safe. No one can afford to threaten Jadis right now, except Negan who has not yet met her group.
Morgan- Danger. Suicidal, crazy, and ready to kill anything and everything, Morgan is roaming the apocalypse on his own again on a mission to kill the Saviors (and just about anything else, for that matter). While he is equipped with survival skills, his unstable mind puts him at risk.
