Futurama is coming back to Hulu with a whole new season of episodes, and Season 13 is teasing the crew is heading for their untimely deaths with an exclusive clip from the coming episodes. Futurama has been on a hot streak with Hulu as following the first two seasons of its revival with the streaming service, it has been picked up for two more seasons. The first season of this renewal is finally upon us, and it’s been touting some wacky new sci-fi adventures for Fry and the rest of the Planet Express crew. But one episode seems to be getting a little more serious.

With Futurama Season 13 premiering later this evening, Hulu has shared an exclusive clip with ComicBook of one of its coming episodes. Titled “The World is Hot Enough,” Hulu teases that the episode will be about, “The crew ignites a volcano in a desperate attempt to slow global warming.” This is taken to the next level with this new clip as the Planet Express crew has plunged into a volcano only for it to go very poorly. Leading to a very heartbreaking moment for Fry and Leela. Check out the new Futurama clip below.
How to Watch Futurama Season 13 on Hulu
All episodes of Futurama Season 13 stream Monday, September 15th at 8pm ET on Hulu with all ten episodes. Episodes will also premiere on FXX September 15th at 8PM with two episodes weekly. This is a big change for the series as Futurama‘s previous seasons with Hulu were releasing their episodes on a weekly basis, but this is also going to be the first season to make a cable television premiere for its episodes alongside its streaming debut. So fans will be able to watch the new Futurama season at whatever pace they prefer.

Hulu teases Futurama Season 13 on a whole as such, “Bender is rampaging out of control! A volcano is about to explode! Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love! And Dr. Zoidberg is rising up to heaven?! The excitement might be too much! You’ve been warned… it’s an all new season of ‘Futurama’!”
What’s Next for Futurama?
Futurama voice stars John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil Lamar and David Herman are all set to return for Futurama Season 13 as well, and will likely be returning for the also confirmed Season 14 of the series. It’s still a little too early to find out when that next season will hit, however, but series co-creator David X. Cohen teased fans about it during San Diego Comic-Con 2025 earlier this Summer with a small sampling of what could be on offer with its final episode.
Touting a new episode looking into Fry’s past as another potential series finale for the franchise, Futurama Season 14 already has a lot to look forward to. But to get there, fans will first need to fully enjoy everything Futurama Season 13 has to offer as it has a new batch of episodes taking on a giant Bender, global warming and much more.
