Fans are somewhat divided over the match card for WrestleMania 33, but no one can argue that it’s filled with talented, both current and from the company’s past. That includes people like Goldberg, The Undertaker, and Brock Lesnar, and it seems there’s been a shakeup in the main event status for all of them.

The original plan was thought to be Goldberg and Brock Lesnar’s rematch going last, typically considered to be the main event spot. Now, most think it will be a squash match, putting the power firmly back in Lesnar’s hands, but according to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer (via IWNerd) that is now not the case. It seems the plan is now to have the Roman Reigns vs Undertaker matchup be the last event on the card, with the Universal Championship match moved to second to last.
Unless this is due to the Undertaker’s potential retirement, this move just doesn’t seem to make sense. Unless Undertaker wins the fans are going to boo Reigns out of the building, and no one wants that to be the ending to WWE‘s premiere annual event. From a character standpoint, Reigns really should beat Undertaker, and the only way he doesn’t is if Undertaker feels he has one more WrestleMania in him.
That remains to be seen, but Vince has been known to change things up on the fly as well, so nothing is set in stone.
