ComicBook.com is pleased to exclusively announce a pair of key panels for the upcoming Long Beach Comic Con, featuring a number of best-selling and award-winning comics creators.

The convention, which runs from September 27 to 28 and features nearly two dozen guests of honor including Jimmy Palmiotti, Mike and Laura Allred and Marc Silvestri, will play host to a "Science Fiction and the End of the World" panel featuring Corrina Bechko, Joshua Hale Fialkov, Gabriel Hardman and Jim Mahfood at 11:30 a.m. on the 28th, followed by a "How to Get Away With It: The Art of Writing Crime" panel with Palmiotti, Jamie S. Rich, Kyle Higgins, Alec Siegel and Alex Segura at 12:30 p.m.

"We're thrilled to have more guests at this year's show than we've ever had before," said Martha Donato, Long Beach Comic Con Executive Director and Co-Founder. "We recognize that attending conventions is a major commitment for comic book creators and we want to honor and celebrate some of the people who've joined us for six years running, as well as the writers and artists who are traveling across the country to attend our convention for the first time."

Long Beach Comic Con takes place on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Long Beach Convention Center. Tickets are available now through their website.
